Real de Faula

The Real Faula golf course was designed by Niclaus Design, the firm owned by the prestigious Jack Nicklaus, recognized as the best player of all time, earning more than 110 victories in his professional career. Nickclaus Design has created 275 golf courses, including some of the most prestigeous courses in the world. For decades, the name Nicklaus has become synonymous with perfection in the world of golf not only because of Jack Nicklaus' game, but also for the golf courses created by his company, Nicklaus Design.

El Levante is one of the two courses in the Real Faula complex. It is a friendly 18-hole course, not too long, with small hills thus making a buggy unnecessary. As with other Nicklaus courses, it has many bunkers protecting the greens that make first and second shot difficult.

The focal point within the complex, the Westin Real Faula Golf Resort & Spa, inaugurated in 2006, is a luxury hotel with a total of 227 rooms (149 doubles and 74 suites). It offers its guests a variety of services:

• Bar Hall with a modern and informal atmosphere recreating an American lounge offering appetizers all day
• El Mirador Piano Bar open afternoons and evenings to spend the night enjoying piano music
• Papamambo Jazz Café where jazz rhythms will accompany your favourite cocktail during the afternoons and evenings
• Various restaurants
• Wireless Internet access in the majority of common areas
• Store
• And a convention centre (for 200 to 1,300 people) and a Business Centre with Internet access and great office equipment

It is located in one of the quietest areas in the Real de Faula complex.
