It is located at 90 kilometres north of Alicante, towards Valencia. Javea's golf course is protected by the San Antonio Cape from the wind and this provides a perfect microclimate year round complementing the pine forests of its natural surroundings.
The course at Javea Golf Club was designed by Francisco Moreno in 1981. It is a 9-hole course, par 72. However, this reduced course does not lack difficulty since it has a total of 34 bunkers.
The course is very attractive with soft slope changes, manicured greens and fairways flanked by pines and orange trees. The terrain's topography provides wide and open fairways providing happiness and confidence to the game before encountering the difficulties posed by the bunkers next to every green.
